Bruce Palmer

Hey all, thanks for stopping by! I’m a musician, teacher, composer, performer, nature nerd, and herbalist based out of western MA. My music journey began 25 some-odd years ago when I was enrolled in private lessons at the age of 7. Thereon my path was woven through studying orchestral classics, winter and spring breaks spent making marks in percussion ensemble and marching band, and annoying my neighbors to no end in scrappy metal bands.

I’ve earned my Bachelors of Music in Music Business from UMass Lowell, and received an RYT200 (Yoga teacher training) certificate from Sutra Studio (Lowell). My private drum lessons infuse elements of mindfulness and meditation, aiding students in honing their focus, gaining bodily awareness and connecting to the music.

My influences are eclectic, and my musical alignment falls somewhere in between Chopin and Slipknot, with playing and compositional styles to match.
